There Was A Problem With My Spa And I Wanted The Cheapest Spa Parts I Could Find

Spa parts are not something high on my list of things to think about, but a series of unfortunate events had me hunting for them like Ponce De Leon hunting for the fountain of youth. It began when I was hosting my cousin and his family from out of town and my cousin got a bit too enthusiastic about the peach schnapps I had offered him and dumped his fourth glass right into my spa's electrical system.

To this day, I have no clue why he was fiddling with the electronics in the first place, but regardless, I had to deal with a messed up spa and my cousin's lamentations. Of course, he offered to pay for the repairs and I agreed, but I still needed to figure out what was damaged and what would be required to fix it. I hired a repairman to examine the broken pieces and his professional opinion was that I would need to pay for a new circuit board, among other things.

After providing me a description of the problem, he chuckled and then told me what I could expect to pay to get it fixed, which was a lot. I dismissed him without another word and began hunting for another solution to this dilemma. I knew that my cousin was paying for the damages, but I had no wish to leave him with an exorbitant bill that he would have to pay, so I started looking online hoping for lower prices.

I was right because within a few moments of looking, I found a website that had fantastic discounted prices on exactly the spa parts that I needed as well as other things like spa covers and filters. I made an order and then called around to a few other repair people until I found one who gave me an honest quote on installing the new electronics, so I promptly made an appointment for him to come down as soon as the parts arrived.

Once the job was done I called my cousin, who was back home by this time, and let him know it was done. He was relieved and sent me a check for the repairs and I let him know that he could come visit anytime he wanted as long as he left his drinks out of the hot tub. He laughed and agreed that they could come for the next Thanksgiving break. But for the time being, I went out and had a nice soothing soak in the hot tub, and appreciated not having to think about spa electronics.
